In general, I think most of the sources of large burst damage in this game are fuckin retarded and contribute to matches being about getting a single team wipe and then capping a point, rather than sustaining damage and whatnot.
Soldier's helix rockets, Zen fully charged alt fire, Hanzo's scatter arrow, old Roadhog's hook, and any other ability that essentially results on an instakill on any non-tank yet requires little skill to land. These are what makes this game bullshit, not any sort of perceived imbalances you fucks have.

Junkrat literally doesn't have to aim, does insane damage, can one shot over half the cast, and his ult wipes entire teams. it's literally a free play of the game when he plays.
Why does /v/ only complain about the characters who already suck?
My two gripes are as a low plat are
a) pharmercy being strong enough that you need perfect aim as a soldier to shut it down effectively
b)symmetra doing loads of damage more than she should given how easy it is to play her.

The only character he's capable of oneshotting is a tracer if he's damage boosted. Everyone else requires multiple hits.
He's the worst character in the game against Dva, one of the most common heroes to encounter in the current meta. Overall, I feel he needs minor reworking to make him more viable, not a nerf. His riptire could use a minor health boost, for instance. A single pharah rocket/hanzo arrow/junkrat pellet/semi-charged widow shot will break it, and because of the loud call out it's very hard to stealth without going (thanks minor buff) suicide bomber with it and being in the blast zone and immediately detonating.
My shitty idea for a rework would be to allow him to put down 2 deployables of any kind total. He could put down two traps, a trap and a concussion mine, or a concussion mine. Can keep their cooldowns separate for game balance purposes.
Outside of that, his normal attacks are perfectly average and are in a pretty healthy place, they may be a bit too bouncy and not stick to a target area well enough if anything, but that's a very minor issue that can easily be just my taste for junkrat being more about area lockdown than agressive burst.
