I absolutely love bloodborne, but EVER made? That's a stretch. The marketing was phenomenal and the twists were interesting, the mechanics feel good and the game is a decent difficulty with a cool story telling method. But it has its flaws, objectively or not.

what's so good about it? got past gascoigne and kinda lost interest. seemed pretty similar to dark/demon's souls and even dark souls was too similar to demon's souls for me. faster combat is nice but it wasn't holding my interest.

Dark Souls 3 is the only game in the series that Bloodborne is potentially better than

Nioh's alright, I'm not a fan of the Diablo-style loot drops though. Don't go in expecting Samurai Souls and you'll have a good time.

I can't think of many tactics games on PS4 though besides XCOM 2 and Banner Saga, but I've only played the PC versions of those so I don't know how well they hold up on PS4. You should totally play Codename Steam if you have a 3DS though, a lot better than you might think.

Nioh's combat is what a fast paced Souls game should play like, not BB's or DS3's r1 stunlock fest. Unfortunately, it's dragged down by diabloshit and a real lack of variety, but both of those can easily be worked around until NG+. Definitely worth it on sale.

the drops don't fucking matter you just need one with highest number of effects and then just change them. or just don't worry about them it doesn't really matter that much.
