Both of them have better stories than most of megaten, Raidou has more fleshed out demons than any other game, and DDS combat is good, and only gets shit on because the somwhat high encounter rate and the fact that its not demon pokemon. Raidou 2 combat is even decent, arguably.

Too bad they're not worth anyone's time because of the clusterfuck the combat is, even if 2 improves on it letting you have 2 demons, shit is still slow and pointless with limited combos ad guns being useless in a action game. They're just a waste of time to play.

DDS combat sucks for being grindy, usually in SMT you can just focus on leveling up naturally and fusing is more important so you don't ever HAVE to grind, shit in DDS forces you to since there's no fusing and on top you have to grind a separate meter called AP which takes forever for not only you, but your party too.

Getting 2 people with maxed healing skills since members fuck off then their magic skills, their buff and debuff skills and physical skill is long as fuck, you gotta do this with your party
