Started around the end of S1, everyone i know irl dropped the game around S3. I decided to check the game again 1 month ago and there was still some sad fucks i had met online from S2 who were still playing, some just go online and dont even play the game again. Some guys invited me to play a few games with them, i just uninstalled without saying a word after it.
I dunno how people can play that game for so long, shit gets boring as fuck and not even new champions make it somehow refreshing to play again.

I quit a few years ago and never looked back. I just got tired of them changing the entire game around every year and making it worse each time. I can understand why they do it - if they don't keep the game relatively fresh people are gonna get bored - but it's not even the same game anymore as far as I'm concerned. That and Riot is legitimately a pretty fucking scummy company. But whatever, I've got nothing against the people who still play. It was a solid game when I joined it in 2009 and if people still like it now it's their choice.

Unless you're actually braindead, you'll pick on the game by playing it. The game revolves almost entirely revolves around fundamentals and muscle memory. It's just developing a sense for when to be and where.

These games don't do good things to people, so if you can quit now you really should.

I started playing league a year or so ago when a couple of my friends urged me too. The problem is my skill level is way below theirs and when I play with them I just end up feeding and it's no fun for anyone.

Alot of them have quit though recently, they don't like alot of the changes I guess. I can't be bothered to play it myself desu. I only played it cause my friends did so idk.

I play a couple games a week still. Don't really care about quitting too much.

No, what I mean is after a certain point in LoL's patch cycle they started balancing in such a way that forced people to play a certain way that was more "spectator friendly" and 7.0's map design and mechanics seem to be focused around forcing as many fights as possible; it was especially heavy handed with the 2 minute jungle camp respawn timers, but they've backed off on that instead of doubling down like what LoL did.
