I live in the south and it gets up to 105F here, so when I play games my mouse hand gets sweaty sometimes. This is really uncomfortable and I was hoping some of you would have tips how to combat this? Wiping it down every once in a while isn't a solution for me. Is there perhaps a glove that keeps your hand cold instead of warm and also quite thin?
>>383412761
Cotton Gloves?
>>383412761
I suffer form the same problem OP, if you have some cotton gloves you can cut the figers off and use them as fingerless gloves
i know it sounds awful but the hand will sweat mainly on the palms
when your fingers get too wet you can clamp your hands and wipe it on the glove
>>383412761
Just run your A/C day long. I keep mine at 72 degrees and I'm in Orlando. My power bill is only $200 a month for a 1,600 square foot house
get surgery to kill the sweat glands
>>383412761
Chop your hands off and learn to play without them like realhandi
>get scared
>human body starts sweating profusely
I don't understand. Say I was up in the mountains or on a cliff. Sweaty hands wouldn't help me grab onto rocks or the ledge. In fact it would just fuck up my grip making it easier for me to die.
>>383413702
im getting sweaty imagining that
>>383413702
natural selection
people with sweaty palms are a genetic aberration
>>383413702
If something is trying to grab you, sweating profusely would result in them losing their grip on you.
It's a trait inherited from earlier mammals with sweat glands.
Buy a claw grip mouse?
Get a fucking AC. If you're poor get a fan. It's not that hard.
>>383413023
second this
>>383414309
This. Even a fan can dry sweaty palms if it's blowing directly to you
>>383414595
Yeah, he could probably pick up a sleeve made for drawing tablets for pretty cheap on amazon
>>383412761
Try buying some cycling gloves and using those.
>>383412761
1
Stop being a fat pig
2
Stop being poor and get some AC
>>383414869
Not him but I'm not fat and have a window a/c right in my room and I get sweaty palms as well. Applying pressure to them for like 10 minutes and they will start to sweat.
Athletic chalk
>>383414002
True, but most of the things trying to grab us have claws and sharp teeth. Sweaty skin isn't going to help much against a paw swipe from an 800 pound saber tooth tiger
>>383415250
The cheap way is to drink a lot of cold water. It really cools you down but the down side is having to piss 2-3 times an hour.
>>383415674
Seems fairly easy to cherry pick in this conversation.
Sweaty humans grappling one another is some exhausting business to deal with.
>>383412761
Thin, dry, washcloth over your mouse. It looks stupid, but you need to do what you need to do.
>>383412761
Be lucky OP, for you make your own lubricant.
>>383413702
>get horny
>human body starts sweating profusely
is there a pattern here?
>>383412761
there is a procedure where they inject some poison into your palms to kill off 70%~ of your sweat glands, which is entirely fine since men have about 8 times as many as women anyway.
>>383413702
your body does not know that you are hanging on to your dear life, only that you are stressing the inside of your hands, which prompts your body to try to put a protective layer of sweat over the stressed area.
>>383418214
hormones and other messenger chemicals are exuded with the sweat, smelling the sweat of your partner makes your hornier.
The pattern is that sweat, like a lot of our biology, is a splendiferous thing with a ton of uses, the prime feature which makes humans so competitive to every other animal.
>>383414869
That is a problem from defective genes imo, even by being near anorexic and under AC people with sweaty hands will start fucking sweating for no damn reason, I think it's the stress/nerves while playing vidya.
>>383412761
talcum powder
Who here Simian Cleft master race?
>>383412761
Used to have sweaty hands. Had to wipe-down my controllers, tablet, keyboard etc. once or twice a week. Changed my diet, went Keto and now hand sweats are gone.
Don't expect you to make a whole lifestyle change though, so doubt this will help you OP.
Use deodorant on your hands.
>>383412761
My keyboard has a fan on it. Get one of those.
A small fan pointed at your Kb&M should help if ac isn't an option. Works well enough for me.
Sort of related but back in the xbox HUEG days I used this.
It a was fucken godsend and It was a decent gamepad as well.
>>383412761
Similar problem except I have sweaty balls, anyone have any ideas how I can stop them sweating so much?
>tfw sweaty hands but having really dry hands makes me really uncomfortable also
This stuff here, in middle of summer you can get clammy. This stuff is a minty smelling anti-perspiration lotion for your hand that doesn't leave a residue. I know I sound shilly, but I got one with a Scuf controller for free. It's pretty decent.
>>383415794
Also really healthy. I started to drink shit tons of water and stopped drinking soda shit. I feel way fucking better and my skin is cleaner and brighter.
SOMEONE HELP ME WITH MY SWEATY BALLS!
GIRLS CAN HAVE SWEATY BALLS TOO YOU BIGOTS!
>>383422672
Take showers and clean them.
>>383423576
Talcum powder or some shit.
>>383423694
>rubbing shit on your balls
nigga u nasty
>>383412761
This is probably unhealthy advice, but anticholinergic drugs (e.g. Benadryl) will suppress your body's ability to perspire. This can easily result in a heat stroke since your body needs to perspire to regulate its temperature.
These types of drugs can also cause psychosis or paralysis, at least if you take them in high enough doses to suppress perspiration.
>>383412761
You can go talk a doctor (dermatologist) about it, just say your hands get sweaty when you write on pen or work with tools. Dr prescribed me some aluminium cream, but I know it should be different with some people.
A friend of mine uses baby powder on his hands but that doesnt work for me.
How is this game related you filthy animals? Goto fucking /b/ where you belong, you sweaty pigs.
I honestly just have a small towel in my lap and give myself the ol dry-off in between rounds or whatever.
>>383423969
Oh also, in case your leave dirt or stains on your devices (controller, keyboard, mouse, etc) it's recommended to wash your hands every 2 hours. Because that 'dirt' is caused by the oils from your handwatch your diet fatty
>>383419465
>protective layer of sweat
A month ago it was still 50F here during the day at times.
I am moving south as soon as I can.
