I'm certain it's not around anymore. As i said my soul meter isn't broken and i can collect the full amount, so somehow it just dissapeared. I didn't use it much either. I would argue that all the abilities outside of the charge attack and the vengeful spirit were pretty useless in this game. You could use them, but most of the time just using the regular sword attack worked just as well.

The 2nd phase is unironically the easiest part of the fight anon. He always does his downward attack to the same rhythm. So you basically just have to get a fell for when he's gonna downward attack and start the dodge just before he does it. Just dash every second or so to dodge it. Then when he pauses and starts flinging fireballs at you you just got focus on dodging and get attacks in when you feel safe. But honestly he doesn't take that many hits in his second phase so as long has you have a good pool of health you don't even have to focus on dodging the projectiles that much.

Then you are losing too much health in his first form. Take your time. dodging is better then taking a hit and giving a hit.
use charms that will help you:
quick focus can give you some heals during the first form.
Long nail will help you reach out, while being able to dodge.
defenders crest can give you some extra dps that can add up to a full attack or two.

i went blue hp + larger shield + less soul spells + thorn

i don't really like healing and don't lose much hp in 1st form
thing is when he stops i find myself chased by 3 balls in no time and always lose at least 2 hp

The balls chase you dude, if you don't stop moving then they will have to keep doing that. if you have long nail or better yet mark of pride they will help you reach him while not needing to be as close, this will also help with dodging since you will have more room to move. You clearly don't have enough health in the second form or you would be able to tank enough hits to win. idk what to tell you man, you need to git gud one way or another, complaining about rng here isn't gonna help.
