do you even care if it gets announced now?
>>383411180
nope
>>383411180
nah not really
>>383411180
What is this?
Valve isn't a developer anymore and have lost much of their actual talent while completing the transition to being almost exclusively a retailer, so no. It literally wouldn't be any good at all at this point.
>>383411315
it's kind of like call of duty
>>383411180
you have to be 30 years old to like the hl3 meme
i tried both 1 and 2, they are trash..maybe they didn't age well *shrugs*
Never found the games anything special anyway, so no.
>>383411617
And kinda like that one game that the fuckers who made that one space game made. Yknow what I mean?
Not really. I'd play it out of obligation but I wouldn't hype it to death
Half life 2 is gmod
>>383411737
Like this piece of shit. What the fuck is this.
>>383411665
Nah, they're still genuine fun. Have you been around long enough to know fun, anon?fucking fuck the fucking boat missions god damn
Yes, I'm still quite angry at valve for so arrogantly turning their back on the series that made them and I despise DOTAfags for enabling them.
>>383411180
no unless they went in a completely new direction and it seemed awesome but still at its core half-life. at this point I don't give a fuck unless it's ground breaking as a stand alone game.
>>383411180
Yes. Memers and underage will say no, but the announcement of HL3 would break the internet.
I think people who actually play games wouldn't care but the media would make such a big deal out of it that everyone would get hyped as a result.
>>383411180
Yes. Anybody who doesn't is an underage faggot who only ever cared because of reboot memes
I would think deep down you would care.
>>383411180
I would freak out, the shitposting would be viewable from space.
>>383412442
>>383412741
Yep. Which makes a shitty overhyped game something people want to play.
>>383411180
yep
Nice try Valve. We know you aren't making it right now and aren't falling into your anti-marketing tactics.
We want Half-Life 3. Give.
No, all the original dev members left, Valve is a retailer now, not a dev house anymore.
If they were to shit HL3 out it would be immensely mediocre, if not shit.
It will be Duke Nukem all over again.
>>383413530
>anti-marketing tactics
>You were paid to talk so we don't talk about half life 3!
>>383411180
Nah. I loved HL1 but didn't find HL2 as great. I think if they ever plan on releasing it they'll try to make the best VR game ever made.
Call of battleHalo: Infinite Halffare
>>383411180
no but obligatory
HL3 when?
>>383411180
Yeah but I'm not eagerly awaiting the announcement, don't even think they ever will.
>>383411180
I want it to be announced, but at the same time I don't want it to be because Valve might mess it up.
>>383411665
>30
>Love the HL series
>Only gave up on HL3 about 2 years ago
You pretty much nailed it. I don't think 1 and 2 or trash by any stretch, but anyone going into the series now isn't going in with rose colored glasses and they're going to seem very derivative and unimpressive.
They were amazing when they first came out, but shit has advanced so much since then there's no way to go back and appreciate them as starting points.
>>383411180
I've given up and accepted that it isn't going to happen in the foreseeable future.
But I'd just about have an aneurysm out of joy if they announced a release date.
>>383411180
What developers and writers would do it, anon? No one is left.
>>383412442
HL2 stressed Valve's servers to the point that people couldn't even get through to validate physical purchases, better yet download the goddamn thing.
HL3 could very well break their infrastructure.
