Man I never played Crash 2 as a kid... Why does everyone say it's the best? Maybe it's because I have nostalgia for the first and third but after finishing Crash Bandicoot: Prepare to Die Edition and moving on to Crash 2 the game just isn't satisfying. Platforming is not fun in Crash 2. Do I need to try speedrunning it to have fun?

So far, I've found the first level to be one of the hardest ones to get platinum on, because there's such a tiny margin without doing and magical glitch fuckery.

Some of these Brio Bonus rounds are insane, I don't think I ever beat a single one back on ps1 because there was no point and you only got one attempt. Nailing 20 perfect jumps in a row feels great when you finally do it though.

Anyone else notice the platform physics are different? it's especially noticeable on levels like the high road. All the platforms LOOK the same size as the original version, but the hitboxes are smaller, so you're more likely to slide off. Same with the enemies, all their hitboxes for jumping on them are smaller, so you have to be more accurate. It makes some jumps that were fairly hard originally fucking frame-perfect.
