The gacha is pretty nice, but I wish it had better story. The gameplay is extremely casual and dull, but new game modes and challenges are making it better. They just need to cut down on so much of the downtime it gets

I honestly cannot get myself to play much else besides fire emblem heroes and final fantasy brave exvius these days. It's just so easy to play while in bed super comfy listening to podcasts. Mmos are shit, online games are shit, console, pc and handhelds games don't hold my attention much anymore because I'm severely depressed and lonely. But I'll be damned if these silly gacha games haven't kept me somewhat sane. I'm seriously jaded as fuck with videogames and would never in a million years have thought I'd find a fucking mobile phone game as being -fun- f2p btw.

I love it

A lot of fun if I don't play it every day I at least open it up for the log in bonus. I feel like enough time has passed to where even F2P players can compete with whales up to tier 19-20.

I've reached the point where the basic maps are all gone and the "challenge" maps are nothing more than a test of how much you've pulled, which has dwindled since the whole skill inheritance thing.

I'll admit it was fun for a while, especially climbing arena and getting 4k consistently. But the grind for good passives and facing whales with vantage on everything has sucked the fun out of that.

I liked it when it first started but it quickly became clear it doesn't have any good hooks. Gatcha games are kind of like MMOs if there's no cool rewards or content to go through it's all going to be for nothing.

Heroes had a fair gotcha but nothing to do with those 5* units after a few weeks.


Fate/Grand order has a lot of shit I don't like but it does have meaningful content and stuff I really want to get down the line. It also does the waifu thing better, it's fucking genius giving you extra vo, story, and sprites/portraits by advancing your characters.

Something I've wanted to say for a while:

That's only because it's been out longer. F/GO used to be in the same spot like FEH with awful main story and shitty grindfest events. It wasn't until like a year in that it start to get better.
