I thought it was fun, a lot of people shit on it but Far Cry is easily the best single player AAA franchise out there and 4 was the best game in the series.

And yeah, it's rehashed shit, but it's good rehashed shit. The Himalayas are a cool setting, the autogyro was great, the characters aren't all unlikable faggots, the grafix are fucking amazing, and it makes a lot of little improvements in general.

It's really, really generic, homogenized and streamlined. The typical modern AAA "blockbuster" game.
Also essentially just a reskin of Farcry 3. If you played 3, even if you liked it, don't bother with 4.

I'd have really enjoyed it if it wasn't part of the open world plague. Everything was solid, it just became tedious. Same as 3 really. I'll not play another.
