This game is $12 through Humble Monthly. Is it worth getting? I saw the negative reviews during the Steam sale because they jacked up the price right before it got discounted.

It's really not, no. The writing's trash and it tries too hard to emulate an extremely outdated, dead genre of RPG. I only see /v/ ever praise it in the context of, "At least it's better than Tyranny," which isn't saying much at all.
