Translating things like this is difficult due to needing to decide if conveying the idea of the message or keeping the title exact is more important.

Only problem with using "residence" is that in the context of being like a housing complex. And the level is outdoors.

Though leaving Mantango in the title might make people look into the meaning of the word, find the film, and expand themselves by absorbing more culture.

Also I have to try to keep all text in a similar form factor-- It is incredibly difficult sometimes, but I can't afford losing any information due to the sprite sheet cropping.

This is hard. Normally when I translate I have someone to verbally discuss these things with, but he's not here so I'm at a loss in my own head.

I was going to set up a Twitter for it later. But right now:
- 2 out of a lot of sprite sheets done so far (ALL menus are directly on the sprite sheet; barely any actual coded text)

- No progress on cutscenes (not even extracted yet)

- Style guide for text has been established; everything will be consistent in quality even though I have to do pretty much everything by hand (If I had the money, I'd pay someone to do the text for me; but I'd be cracking them with a whip to keep it in style)

- Acquired the game engine used (Action Game Maker; aka "ACT Tkool" "Action Tkool", etc etc took me so long to find) and currently working on how to work through it despite no real tutorials anywhere due to its cancellation in 2011.

-- Contacted the creator (ザルク) in a hope to get a response about the project files for ACT Tkool; however it is doubtful due to a multi-year hiatus.

OP, I'm on a bit of a personal project myself! Trying to get the oldest English translation of The Decameron scanned and publicly available. There are already digital versions, and even a solid Project Gutenberg rendition, but I want to get a proper high-quality scan of a original since it pisses me off that there isn't a scan of it freely available to the public so far as I've been able to find. Anyway, I admire your efforts to translate this Hibernian grassfolding erotica into English!

It only has a couple hundred downloads total...

The pony is named Machina ; from one of the Machine Empire's neighboring countries.

What makes Machina a unique character is the fact he is the slowest and heaviest of the 3 main characters, but he has access to very high physical damage and can decimate groups of close up enemies.

Just his weakness are the platforming stages. . . But his upward direction air attack has his wings turn into helicopter blades to extend his jump horizontally.

(And somehow the developer managed a bulge on him?)

If you want to go literal you could use something like Habitat of the Motangoh or Where the Motango Live

すみか just means すむところ, nothing about mansions or residences

Of course you can spice it up in any way, there's no rule against that

Too bad the cows weren't added in before the creator stopped working on the game.
