Steam
Get the 60fps mod and Wulf's connectivity mod

This, PS3 / 360 versions suffer from massive frame drops
>>383377281
Shit, i wish that I did this.
I'm already too deep into the 360 version to start over now.
>>383378971
Never too deep to start over, once you know what you're doing you can blitz through Souls games
>>383377185
Steam or get ready for cinematic sub 30 fps with drops to 15 in specific areas.
I unironically play and enjoy both versions. Framerateshills btfo

I just beat the gaping Dragon, and I just now figured out what humanity does. I still got know fuck all about the game and I think my stats are terribly done. Once I finish it, I might either try it on PC, NG+, or just go to DS2

Good for you?
>>383378971
The first time it played, it took me 12 hours to get to capra demon. The second time I played, it took me 2.

You're barely a quarter of the way through the game.

Also, it will take a lot less time to reach the same point the second time round than it did the first.
Also, the area right after Gaping Dragon has infamously bad framerate drops on console.
>>383380141
The games are structured such that when you know what you're doing what took you 6 hours will take 15 minutes.

>60fps mod
Breaks physics. Don't do this.
>>383381947
There's only a handful of points where it makes a difference and there are maybe 2 that are game breaking (die from sliding a long ladder) to the point where you can either toggle the mod or just not slide down.
>>383381947
Pressing backspace seamlessly reverts it back to capped. You just need to remember to do it before jumps since gravity is tied to framerate.
It makes the game infinitely more comfortable to play.

You can lock fps to 30 and unlock at any point with a single key press.
