You can get everything important with just a PS4

Chain of Memories and 358/2 Days are essential supplements to fully understand KH2, entirely worth it. CoM and Re:CoM are excellent games and you can just watch the cutscene movie for 358/2.
KH1 and BBS provide a lot of important backstory but their plots are largely self-contained.
DDD and 2.8 are mainly setting up for KH3
