Warframe has a really nice visual design and fairly interesting worldbuilding. I think it's the only thing that keeps me playing.

I've put a lot of hours into this game and I'm bored at this point.

That does look initially awesome but they need to keep access to the current dungeon system too and they really need more enemies on that map, a small smattering of enemies when our frames are so strong is bad. A large part of the fun is so many enemies coming at you, there were less than 10 in that whole video.

Seeing as there is always going to be some person needing some shit, you can generally always find someone to buy your junk for one reason or another. Even if you're not making mad dosh per transactions, you don't really need more than 60 to 80 plat on hand at any one time unless you're buying cosmetics or whole warframes on release. I can understand that people might not like a bunch of changes. Although with this particular example, the old game is still there. You can still go run missions and whatnot. They're not removing or changing that old content. They're just adding this new world area that you can go and mess around in if you want to. To be fair, I'd imagine that story missions or certain resources would require you to go to the open world area for new content. But again, the old content would still be where it was and how you like it.


As for 'they keep changing it for change sake', I view it moreso as this is closer to their pie-in-the-sky dream game to develop whenever they started work on Warframe years ago. But to develop an open world PVE shooter with platforming elements and shit isn't really viable to make from scratch unless you're a big company. When it comes to content like sorties and raids everyone needs to pull their weight, it's really annoying when you get that one guy who has shitty weapons and shitty warframes and he can't defend his own point in interception.

Alternatively it's not fun to have one guy riced out and 1 shotting everything while you just tag along and soak up xp, there has to be a balance.

New Prime shit always sells if you can get a full set, regardless of the actual quality of the item in question. Uncommon and Rare parts of new prime stuff are also easy sells, if a bit less profitable.

Current top tier/meme weapons (Tigris Prime, Galatine Prime, etc) ALWAYS have buyers if you can slap together a full set to sell. Not all Prime Frames are equal. Trinity Prime, despite being absolutely amazing and useful in almost every team composition, is the cheapest Prime frame you can buy; her usual asking price is actually 20p. Buy her, by the way. She's worth it.

Know what's vaulted and what's not, along with what's (likely) to be vaulted next ahead of the announcement of it being vaulted. The reason for this is because a couple months after an Prime item gets vaulted, the going price for it can skyrocket. This isn't always the case, though: Volt Prime and Ash Prime are both vaulted, but they're so niche that they'll never break triple digit prices unless they end up joining Loki Prime in the Vaulted Forever club. There is also whole collection of Prime weapons in the vault that range from 'were bad when they came out' to 'nerfed by old age and power creep' and rarely 'actually still good.' Know the difference before trying to sell. Some collectors will pay out the ass for ultra old vaulted stuff, though.

If you're a patient giga-jew you can play along with the triple digit prices and hope for a desperate sucker. If you're a returning player who just happens to have parts for a now vaulted Prime in your inventory, just look up the prices for said parts on Warframe.market and go to trade chat with "WTS <item> <part> for <slightly under average market price> plat" and you'll be swamped by the aforementioned giga-jews eager to get their hands on vaulted bits at discount. Not a bad strategy unless you're really, really serious about finishing that Nyx Prime set.

There are mods that will generally always have buyers. Off the top of my head, Berserker, Drifting Contact, and Blood Rush will always have someone willing to shill out anywhere from 5 to 20 plat for each of those. Corrupted mods are also reliable sources of plat, if your luck is good. The weapon damage mods like Heavy Caliber or Spoiled Strike, and most of the Warframe mods will sell for at least 10 plat each. Also you're going to be grinding corrupted mods anyways for your own collection, so you might as well make some cash off the duplicates.

Primed mods are also constant sellers (assuming they're not the shit ones like Fast Hands or Bane damage mods), but you'll need to stock up on ducats to get a decent pile of them. This is consistent plat, but also requires patience: no one is going to buy your Primed Pointblank if Baro is literally still at the relay unless they have more plat than ducats and no urge to grind. Wait awhile and the people who missed whatever Baro was selling will start to chime up in trade chat looking for scraps.

If you really need plat, damn the consequences, you'll see people in trade chat going "WTB prime junk" and maybe they'll even list their going rate. These people are basically the pawn shops of Warframe. If you have six fuckjillion Bronco Prime barrels and no intention of doing anything with them or turning them into ducats, this is what you can do with them to get a little rainy day money.

Remember, all the useful shit that you should actually be buying when you're hard for plat costs 20 plat or less.

I'll be honest and say that I fell for it. First night I spent $10 when I started because I thought "Oh I'll just buy a frame I like and a weapon so then I can get into the game" and then realized I could've gotten them for minimal time investment if I just waited a few days after I started playing.

Literally only use your platinum(ingame currency) to buy weapon/warframe slots as needed.

Once you get past the beginner weapons and areas, you can already start to get Platinum by doing Void Missions. I won't really explain them in depth(look them up), but basically you can use Void Relics to run a Void Mission to get Prime Parts to trade other players for Platinum. Use ( www.warframe.market ) to set up sales while you play. Should also give you a rough idea of how much value each item is worth.

Just play the game, move through the star chart and start unlocking all the nodes. Look at a few frames and weapons that you'd like to try and see where the required blueprints to craft them drop from. Anytime you finish a play session make sure to throw some weapons/frames in the crafting thing so they'll build while you're offline. Ranking up weapons/frames and shit will increase your max rank which will let you access more weapons and stuff. Always try to be ranking stuff up(note that resetting a weapon/frames rank with forma will not increase your rank after you've already maxed it once).

Once you unlock Syndicates, rank the ones you want up (you can max 3 to 4 out of the 6 if you choose the right ones, look at which are opposed and allied to eachother). Once they're maxed you'll just start getting free syndicate points from them by just completing any missions. There's a cap on the points you can store, so use any unneeded points on Void Relic packs to use for Void Missions.

The easiest way to make a lot of Platinum with the smallest amount of effort is to wait for when a new Prime Access is about to happen. A couple weeks in advance it will be announced that certain weapons/primes will be vaulted and not available to be obtained for a while. Aim for getting these parts, and then keep them in your inventory until after the gear becomes vaulted. Then you can put them up for trade and make quite a bit more on them. Also, whenever the prime access occurs, the first night or two if you aim for the newly released prime parts you can actually sell them for 3 to 5 times their 'actual' price because people are inpatient and want the newest shit asap. Save up your syndicate points for these prime access nights and use them to buy a bunch of Void Relic packs to aim for the new parts.

Once you get more savvy about these prime parts and the vaulting system, it's easy to take advantage of. In the winter time, Ember and Frost Primes were unvaulted for a couple weeks. During that time I farmed for Frost Prime to build one, and I got lucky and just happened to get all the parts for Ember Prime. I kept them in my inventory until the frames were revaulted, waited a few months and then sold the Ember Prime parts and made like 700 platinum without having to go out of my way.

If you're autismo like me and want to buy cosmetic shit, then either wait until you get into the game and build up more Platinum than you'll ever need, or wait until you get a Platinum discount (a reward you'll get ever week or two for daily login reward) and spend 5-10 bucks.

At most, weapons take 12-24 hours to build. Just start crafting them and then use them the next day.

For frames, the individual parts take 12 hours (you can craft all 3 parts simultaneously). Putting them together takes 3 days, which is the only timer you should ever consider rushing with plat. Even then, you can start cooking it and go play another game for a few days. It is annoying, but Warframe really isn't the type of game where you should sit down for 8 hours a day and play it. You play it an hour or two, unless you're really grinding for something, start crafting some shit and then be done for the day.

Take advantage of the fact that you can have an infinite amount of things being built at once at the Foundry.

Fastest way to get relics is to use your syndicate rep to buy a relic pack for 20k reputation. You're guaranteed at least a Neo relic with each pack, and Axi's aren't uncommon. Savvy players do their syndicate missions not for the rep they give on completion, but to grab as many rep tokens as they can find. That way, when new Primes drop, they can spend all their rep on relics, turn in a mountain of rep tokens to get more rep, and buy more relic packs until they run out of tokens.

Now, for doing your relic farming manually, there is no way to speed up farming for specific relics besides doing the most efficient missions for that rarity of relic and hoping for the best. The general gist for that is:

>Lith Relics:
Spear on Mars (Grineer Defense) and Orikin Derelict Defense (Infested Defense) are loaded with Lith relics as rewards for waves 5 and 10 (otherwise known as rotation A), but it isn't guaranteed. Go ten waves and leave.

>Meso
Io on Jupiter (Defense) - Exactly like for the previous tier, but for Meso relics. This is the lowest level mission that will give Meso relics reliably. Still very much in Ember's territory here, too, but you might want to consider a Spore Saryn if its one of your options.

>Neo and Axi
These are bundled together because the best places to farm either happen to be the same. Xini on Eris (Infested Interception), Hydron on Sedna (Grineer Defense) and Stofler on Lua (Grineer Defense with surprise guest Sentients) can all drop Neo relics for the first two rewards, and drop Axi for the second two rewards.

The thing to note here, though, is that Xini has GUARANTEED Axi relics as its rewards for rotation B and C. You might get Endo or mods from the first two rewards, but the third and fourth will ALWAYS be Axi relics. Try to get a half-decent squad together; trying to do Xini with randoms is a test of patience and luck.

I should mention that the absolute fastest method of farming up Axi relics is Hieracon on Pluto (Infested Excavation); if you're gud or have a team, you can run through rotations like mad men and constantly be hitting rotation C rewards as you burn through drills. Don't recommend it solo, though; the energy carrier ospreys do fucking retarded amounts of damage to the drills for no reason. A pair of them can erase a drill within seconds if you aren't keeping an eye out for them.

Also, since you'll be farming up a stock pile of relics anyways, you can always run a relic of the same rarity of whatever it is you're trying to get, and hope you get matched with somebody running the relic you're after. If you're lucky, you can mooch off of a random's relic and get that last part you need.

Void keys got turned into relics. Instead of running specific key and mission type to try and get prime items, you run a void key similar to how you run a dragon key in the orikin derelict. Each different relic has a range of items it can possibly have. Equip one, and do a Corrupted Mission (random nodes in the star chart will be selected to become corrupted, and change every forty five minutes to an hour), where you'll have to kill special enemies to 'pop' the relics open. Beat the mission and you can see what you and your teammates' relics have inside. From there, you can choose which reward you want out of what everyone got.

So your own relic could have some garbage like a Lex Prime Receiver, but your teammate's reward as a Mag Prime Blueprint. So you can opt to take the Mag Prime BP instead of your receiver.

You can also use void juice to pump up your odds of getting the rarer items inside a relic, but unless you're with a squad of people all doing the same thing it might as well just be placebo.

I remember playing WARFRAME literally years and years ago, where it was just a stupid grind sugarcoated with p2w bullshit and stuff.
Also it was extremely fucking boring, as the gameplay was run from A to B while killing enemies and not dying.

The problem I have always had with the game is that if you stop playing at any time and come back later it feels like it's impossible to catch up or readjust. So much shit gets added so quickly that unless you're there you come back to a whole different game.

Warframes cannot dispense pure Void energy (or at least they're supposed to but that would make Sentients too easy.) I stopped playing around the time Rivens expanded to pistols and shotguns. I'll probably recheck the game out once this hits but it's looking like a MH rip off currently. At least they are trying to adapt to the Destiny/Anthem market. Whether that helps or hurts them we'll see.

I can, I own every frame except Oberon (never bothered to build him besides mastery fodder until after his rework, haven't bothered to farm his Prime yet), Hydroid (Vay Hek is unfun and Hydroid is shit), and Rhino (forgot about him).
