Its fucking retarded. There is no defense for this. Cost RUINS SO MANY GAMES. I instantly quit a game if it has cost, so most games lose.

2.) No Auto

I want to Auto irrelevant shit. Of course, if something is even remotely challenging im happy to do it myself, but braindead shit with no auto is an instant quit.

Such a shame. I wanted to like it.

On a side note my 3rd instant quit is "too many males in the Gacha" which It came close to.

I quit because I felt there was no progression. After reaching level 50 by grinding on the lv40 hands I started to question what the fuck I was doing.

Well it sucks coming in two years later. I finished Rome and now there is nothing to do. The servant pool is pitifully small and I keep getting the exact same one stars over and over again from the friend point gacha. First event we get is a complete throwaway that adds a single character into the servant pool.

It sucks looking up the servants and seeing all the cool content we probably won't see in a year or more. I already feel like I ran out of stuff to do.

This is the early life of the game, like 2 weeks in. In Japan they improved the quests and story missions and give you so much EXP and Materials that people dont have to worry about grinding at all.

The only main limiting factor is QP which is the only thing you have to grind for and you have to spend millions just to upgrade. Materials aren't a worry later on because of events that throw you materials like Nero fest, currently it's better to not worry about grinding for them rather than to just focus on EXP and QP.

Difference being that those units while not as good sometimes as 5* can still perform great at higher levels and ascension which isn't hard to achieve. In FEH, you have to Rank up in order for units to be useful. Getting Shadow Speed and other high tiered rewards in TT is pretty much going to be impossible if you don't have those 5*s and Skill Inheritance for your units.

You've got it right, though. F/SN was always a story about Shiro, every route focuses on him and his growth, different for each route. In one he finds relief in sharing a dream, in another he comes to terms with his childish dream and sticks to it, and in another he relinquishes his dream to better protect himself and his own. The story has waifus sure but the route's thesis was centrally about him and his growth.
FGO on the other hand is a cheap vehicle for self-contained short stories that affect bugger all outside of their fucking mario world, and of course to introduce such EPIC characters to sell that gacha! It's sickening and it's killed every shred of begrudging respect I had for the original, which, while admittedly chuuni as hell, was a cohesive story that told everything it wanted to say.

Yea SN was a character story despite all the other stuff going on, which is why i think a lot of people don't like it. They go in expecting something more akin to a regular battle royale focus. That and some dont like Shirou in general, which i guess is understandable even if I find him interesting/fun.

There's a Scathach-Cu combo that requires you to kill both at the same time, to prevent the one left alive to get OP buffs similar to how OrnsteinSmough fight works.

Sumanai has a 200% def buff and 90% damage cut so he's unkillable except by defense ignore servants like Kintoki and Buster braves berserkers.

Gil has a 1.5M HP with scaling unremovable atk buff every turn, practically oneshotting every servant in the game at turn 6+.

The point is nerofest would need a healthy amount of servants, no requirements it has to be 5*, just to have a good working brain on what to do to counter the specific areas.

basically anything with atk up or crit dmg up for the whole team is good, like Arturia's or her lily version. Most is specific to the servant though, like how Herc's bond CE is considered the best just because it allows him to revive 3 times. Emiya's has a chance to get 5 crit stars with each hit of his attacks, etc. It's situational with what servants you have and what setup your party is using; arts meme or buster etc.

Bond CE only works on the unit you maxed their Bond for. A lot of them are similar, like:

>Increase ATK of all allies by 15% while on the field (Artoria, Altera, Iskandar, Summer Artoria, Arthur)

But if you're not a big fan of Fate then you should be happy just having fun and getting random mythological/historical figures and using them to fight.

I think people are ignorant of how you're supposed to level up which is why they think the team cost system is bad

You're supposed to do the servant XP dailies for XP, if you do it from the beginning and then move on to the 40 ap cost dailies (by just grabbing a high level Jeanne as one strategy from someone) you can be leveling up quite literally every fight for quite a while and getting your team size shooting up.

Personally, I wouldn't bother with free quests for pieces/monuments, I've had total shit luck with them compared to dailies. If you want Caster Pieces, the Wednesday/Sunday 30 AP green daily is currently your best bet. The caster daily is up right now. Here's a list of daily drops for NA.

It's true in that the NA version starts with next to none of the content the JP version got from updates over the last 2 years. So it's not like they cut Shuten from the game, she just isn't released yet. Which is a blessing for the people patient enough to save up to roll her. It's already been confirmed nothing will be censored or removed aside from maybe crossover events, but a lot of those have been confirmed as well including Illya.

Stheno suffers pretty badly because she only really functions at all on a Divine team which she can buff pretty hard. Also, her NP is one of the worst, basically doing nothing except doing a 20% DEF drop on anything but male targets. Monsters that look male are not classified as male either (usually), so it becomes double useless on top of that.
I'm going to try and max mine out if I can (even if the droprate on Snake Jewel is pathetically low), but unless you really like her, it's not worth using her. Euryale (her twin/other half) is coming as a 3* and is probably among the best 3* in the game, so if you just like her looks then there's that.

Caster's master, the teacher guy whose name I forget, would push Kirei's shit in with his weird Snake martial arts. Bazett was also stated to be better than him, though Teacher would beat her as well. The Snake thing falls short though in that it's incredibly predictable if you've seen it once, so if either Kirei or Bazett survived a fight he wouldn't stand a chance on round 2.
