Is the Nintendo Switch popular because it is good or popular

Well as the PS4 demonstrated it's all about advertising rather than games.

False premise. It isn't popular.

The PS4 showed very clearly that advertising is all that matters. It didn't have a single good exclusive until bloodborne (which most PS4 owners didn't even buy) yet it sold like wildfire.

well, it's all i ever wished for. now just needs quicker game releaeses, but the platform itself is AMAZING. seriously, i hate consoles. i only use it as a handheld, to hopefully replace my 3ds. and so far with isaac, mk8, and botw, it's really great. Finally a portable handheld from nintendo with GREAT graphics.

i have a switch, and im not interested in any competitive games at all. arms, splatoon 2, meh. i even regret buying mk8. competitive games are on pc, not on handheld or console. slow stuff like pokemon is fine on handheld.

The Switch is still way understocked. I check walmart at least once a week and I haven't seen it there yet. I'm sure you still have to camp out before it opens if you want to buy it. I'm really bumbed that I'm gonna miss Splatoon 2's launch because of this.
