New Vegas is irredeemable diherrea and Fallout 3 and 4 are better

I wouldn't go that far. I'd say New Vegas was the least entertaining for me. I'm not a simple drone for a beloved company that just copied and pasted everything from another company that people hate.

I realize that iron sights and something something rpg elements but Fallout 3 and 4 have a better game feel, atmosphere, and soundtrack. These might seem like superficial things to compare between games but when all 3 are essentially the same game, there are elements that make some better than others.

I haven't particularly enjoyed any Fallout game.

I played 3 and it was interesting for a while but quickly devolved into samey battles and a general feeling of lack of polish. Like the developers created a world and some systems and then dropped me into it, without double checking that everything worked cohesively and was actually fun.

Then I played NV and again it had a strong start but fell apart. Finally, I bought 1 and 2 in a GOG sale and found them impossible to get absorbed in for some reason.

I enjoy reading stories and trivia about these games, and I've watched some of a Let's Play of 1, but I don't enjoy playing them myself.

Can someone explain to me why you would like 3 without liking NV and vice versa? They are almost identical mechanically that they could be mods for eachother. 4 is just a completely different game

For me it's because I played the fuck out of 3, loved it, played the massive amount of DLC in its entirety, NV came around, and it was just more of the same. 4 was also more of the same but I enjoyed it because it had been years since I was put off finally by NV.
