Modded Minecraft went to shit when LexManos stole control of the Forge API and created a bubble of power for himself, where he sits atop his throne of shit and steals everyone's code and ideas and claims ownership, yelling obscenities at anyone who challenges him, while Curse and FTB funnel compliments, money, and free food to keep him content and under their thumb.

There's never been a community full of this much cancer.

They RPGified the game into dead, combat sucked but they made it worse, the potions and bosses are shit, the only thing worthy of vanilla minecraft is creative because the content in survival goes nowhere even though they add something to it in every version because they dont risk too much on going too magic or too medieval or too tech they just add few random shits and get paid by Microsoft. And even creative is shit because theres so few blocks to even do something decent.

Vanilla is horrible but mods have saved it from death for years
