On console yes, on PC it maxes out at 3K on good days but matches don't take long to connect so long as you have 3 or more modes picked for your playlist. It may say "8 minutes" but it doesn't take anywhere remotely close.

Yeah but it's still not balance if everything kills with a few shots and then you call that "balanced" because it's fucking not. The CAR lands a few misplaced random hits on someone and kills in a .03 seconds, whereas other weapons with less rapid fire miss a lot and deal 1/3rd of damage on top of the fire rate. It gets into the skin when the small community is exclusively running CARs and Alternators around and stacking teams with pinpoint accurate laser beams of death. Not even Titan weapons kill as fast as these against pilots. A big ass bolt of energy from the Ion Splitter Rifle melts as fast.

One guy running it isn't a problem, but a stack of 6 players doing so is a snowball that can't be stopped with any set of skills or game knowledge: they're fucking lasers.

wanted to get this but I will probably pick up WW2 on xbx so I can play zombies with my normie friends. Would rather play splatoon 2 over both of them though. If they make a titanfall 3 where I can make my own mech I would probably buy it

There are enough players to find Attrition in seconds. Other gamemodes not so much. Still Respawn is doing events and the Origin Access will include Titanfall 2 now.

You see some recurrent players often but still not the only ones you'll meet. PC i'm talking about, console aim assist shitters get out you're the reason the game can't be balanced.

CAR isnt even the big bad SMG, it's the R97 which since it was buffed only got a slap on the wrist while P2016 gets nerfed for no reason. And before that it was the Volt which was a better AR than all the ARs.

It's not that good. It had a fairly inventive campaign that was good at making you feel powerful. It's still a hitscan shooter with large, directionless map architecture where you're constantly killed by people who were neither looking for you nor running from you. Then you near-immediately respawn in places that feel random to start the process over in hopes of you being the guy to find someone you weren't looking for.

The R97 got nerfed in the last patch a bit and the CAR is still going strong. Before the Volt and all of those it was the Alternator, and we can keep going on and on which one is the best but still we can see they're all the fucking SMGs and doesn't matter how much they """"nerf""""" them they're still left stupidly good in the end.

Except the Volt, that shit is more of an Assault Rifle now after the big nerfs.

It's not about the damage, it's about the damage AND PRECISION they have. The Volt sucks dick now because it sways horribly and can't melt in seconds like Alternator, CAR and R97. All other weapons are inferior in a powergap so abysmal that they're on their own tier, no, more like into their own, another entirely game.

The game is great though. It still pisses me off how Respawn hasn't adressed them at all in a year.

It had a bunch of ever so slight changes which all looked every so slightly worse than the first. On top of that I largely avoid DLC games, and I don't particularly like Sci-Fi (certainly not mechs anyway) so there was no reason to go out and buy it.

The first one was pretty good though.

The worst argument I ever hear by Titanfall fans is that "it's not a CoD clone". That one really boggles my mind. When the first one came out it was nothing but "how did they make Source feel exactly like CoD?"

It's not dead on Xbone. Probably due to a large portion of the Xbox fanbase prefers multiplayer games. Origin is a bust for most PC people and Sony has yet to create a single multiplayer focused series that they haven't immediately killed.

The first titanfall had really great robot designs, but they soiled it in the second game by just making them all have one big cycloptic eye in the center of their body. It looks retarded and inefficient.
