A lot of these are just horror games, but I like this concept for a collection.

I love the second one, but the first is a bit shit and you might be better off just watching it or reading a synopsis.
They're short games and the style of them is either going to totally turn you off or you're going to love it.
They're very well written and voice acted linear third person shooters. If that's your thing, give it a go and they're co-op so find a friend.

Metal Gear Solid

Don't know about the rest of the series, but 1 has a "deadline" (not really) of 18 hours.

Max Payne 1 takes place over either 1 night or 2, it depends how long max is passed out in that one mob bosses house after he gets injected with valkyr.

Didn't like 1 that kuch since the levels aren't really connected.
I really liked it, the atmosphere was amazing, falls a bit short at the end.
Story and gameplay was alright, typical action game shlock.
