Not sure why people hate it when people debate why which faction is superior to the other. It makes for interesting discussion when people aren't being hot headed about it which they usually aren't. It only goes sour when people try & compare it to it's brothers & sisters.

Yeah. Far Cry 2. The worst part is that I want to like it, because the setting, missions and gunplay are great. But the respawning outposts, overabundance of 'chaser' merc jeeps and poor implementation of the malaria mechanic (which could have been tolerable if done right) just make it incredibly unfun.

I forced myself through one whole run of the campaign and never got past the first region on any subsequent playthrough. I still act like it was amazing, though.

They're not though, they all have information about the characters that fuel their respective movements and their reasoning for doing so. The most biggest baddy in Fallout: NV is probably Caesar but even he has his moments of humanity. And they make you well aware of the ramifications of their movement if you side with their cause. Game's not as fleshed out as people make it to be but story wise it's very well written.

I personally think it's an amazing game narrative wise but if you don't, that's cool.
