Better to use some variation of Aristotelian physics or something even more unique and actually think through some of the implications of the ideas that you just put out there.

If you have the Water Ring equipped (which you get right before Jenova LIFE), you literally can stand there, and she can't kill you. All of her attacks are Water-based, so she can't kill the character with the Water Ring, and she'll eventually run out of MP, and stop attacking entirely.

Palmer was designed to be a joke boss. Jenova LIFE was designed to be beaten on the first try so you wouldn't have to see Aerith die twice.
