Thats EXACLTY why i stopped playing the first game, then after all the hype about Witcher 2 i played it after the ¨update that fixed everything¨ and found that exact same retarded as shit combat.

Then when the 3rd came out, i said well maybe they FINALLY managed to fix their fucking retarded combat engine... but nope.

3 games, 10 years, the most ¨based¨ dev and still cant manage to fix the combat, but hey, the sex cutscenes and graphics are so good.

There's a dodge that is infinitely more suited to both dodging and repositioning. The roll is a disengage, not a reposition. You roll to get VERY far away and the tradeoff is that tou are more vulnerable.
