Shielding all the time is a pretty boring way to play these types of games. After multiple playthroughs, I'm always two handing my weapon now in DaS now because it's easier to just roll.

I can't handle any of the souls games, I grew up with games that were practically movies so whenever I get stuck on a certain area I lose my shit, I can't handle going anywhere but forward when playing games or else I practically rage quit, and also I don't have the NEET lifestyle necessary to facilitate games like bloodborne and dark souls

I only finished it recently. I got this in a bundle with the platinum Gamecube forever ago and just never finished it until recently through Dolphin. Can understand why. It's an FPS with one analog stick and platforming. And scanning absolutely kills the pacing of the game if you want to keep up on the lore, since the game doesn't attempt any more practical method of world building. I don't know how it can be as praised as it is.
