Sencond, fun is kinda subjective. Most people on /v/ find the game to be a boring piece of shit but a few people here enjoy it for specific reasons.

Even though i dont like it you can always give it a try on steam for 2 hours, pirate or buy it used for the ps4 since copies are cheap and there is zero reason to buy a brand new copy.

Its kinda fun. At some levels you don't realize the problems, but go high enough, and you'll be a little frustrated with it depending on the character you use. Obviously enough, pirate it, and try out the trials a bit to see if the system in general works out with you.

It's a good game at its core, it's just Capcoms jewishness knows no bounds.

If you like fighting games, yes.

it's a brilliant game to learn fighting games with, and i think in a couple years time it''ll have all the bells and whistles and quality of life stuff that a modern multiplayer game should have along with more well rounded gameplay, but for now i'd say not really? I had a lot of fun for a couple hundred hours learning to play fighters but now i just play other games on fightcade with better netcode.

If you want dash and mash neutral with no satisfying normals on any of the characters, sure.
