You can literally do this. You equip all your characters with new gear and you level them up with skills.

Probably the fastest change in opinion I've ever had.
Everything about it before it was officially revealed sounded fucking horrible but I was sold on the first trailer.
The shitty Rabbid "humour" is still a major turn-off but I'm a sucker for turn-based strategy and the gameplay looks rock-solid.
