Thumper is also a great reinterpretation of rhythm games.

In some respects, I guess it is since you explore areas akin to dungeons with locked doors, switches and simple puzzles while fighting enemies in real time and a boss at the end of each area, but it's different from Zelda in that it's focused on score, speed and replayability with multiple characters. Once you get good you can complete a run in less than twenty minutes.
