There is one IP that rightfully belongs to Bethesda Game Studios, no other studio SHOULD have it; But Fallout, on the other hand, yes. I've come to think that when Zenimax purchased the Fallout IP, Howard had nothing to do with it; he's an employee. He and his team were required to create a Fallout game, so they did, but there clearly was no passion there. I don't hate on Howard as so many do, but Fallout should be made by a different studio owned by Zenimax.

Not bloody likely, Bethesda game studios still has 2 entire games to announce before they will announce the next TES. They've said this very specifically on multiple occasions, even assuming they were to announce one of those at some point this year with release slated for early next year they would still have another full game to announce before TES6. Which would probably not happen until 2019.

We aren't seeing a TES6 announcement until at least 2021 AT THE EARLIEST. Seriously, stop expecting them to announce it, it's not gonna happen for at least 4 more years.

Bethesda Game Studios announce their games on average about 6 months before the game comes out.

So the year they announce TES6 will in all likelihood be the year it comes out.

2021/2022 are the most likely release dates based on what we've been told. In the mean time we'll just have to entertain ourselves with whatever the new IPs they're releasing beforehand are.

They want to expand their IP base because they are expanding as a game company and don't want to be just "That company that makes Elder Scrolls and Fallout games". Basically they want to have more IPs to work on so that's what they're doing. According to what they've said, the new IPs will still be "Bethesda Games" so expect janky, buggy, massive open worlds with weird physics and no ladders.

Technically, they're working on 5 unannounced projects right now, however 2 of those are AAA titles for new IPs. One of the other 3 is a mobile game and another is probably TES6 in very early development.

In your dreams. The latest it could be released is 2019,Skyrim released in november 2011. They're not gonna wait 10 years to milk their juiciest franchise, especially with Zenimax pressuring them for profits.
I believe Bethesda would have started working on TES6 earlier if it weren't for TESO releasing, they don't want both games to compete, even if they aren't the same genre. What's more Todd said himself they are working towards improving their tech, possibly their game engine. They realize their gamebryo version was archaic and couldn't compete anymore. TW3 and BOTW probably struck them and made them realize they really need to step up their game regarding storytelling, quest design and open world design.
Right now they are probably working on the game waiting for next gen consoles.

The real reason Elder Scrolls 6 isn't coming is actually because releasing it would harm Bethesdas profit. They could make and release a new game, or they could keep milking Skyrim with a yearly rerelease of it.

Until Skyrim the extended ultra super edition now on XboneX with VR support which makes it an entirely new full priced game stops selling, they wont release a new Elder Scrolls game.

Bethesda Game Studios (Game Developer) said they are working on multiple other projects before TES6. Bethesda Softworks (Publisher) has released and announced many games since then, but those games were developed by Id Software and other companies that Zenimax owns.
