dont bother with 1-5 since they require an emulator. They are fun, but should come in after you have some investment.

Dont play on easy. Play on normal and use continues if you want. Easy builds awful habits.

Try DoDonPachi first, it's regarded as one of the best bullet hell games and a good place to start. There's a bunch of other games included as well, such as Darius Gaiden, Battle Garegga, Ketsui, Daioujou, and other great Touhou games.
