I'm so conflicted between picking Clorica or Dolce as my wife, at least for this file which turned out to be the comfiest and luckiest now because I *somehow* got a Yellow Feather from a Duck and now have a Tier 1 Grantale that I'll upgrade to Tier 3... and I haven't even begun the second arc. So now I'm pretty much living a comfy farm life knowing I have a weapon to survive Leon Karnak just one third after the game.

It's my single favorite game of this portable generation and I'm not sure a single game before or since can best it in terms of a town that truly feels alive. The amount of unique dialogue each character has when you talk to them is tremendous and lasts well into the 2nd year of the game.

Dude, just wait until you get Delta Strike, Million Strike and motherfuckin' Cyclone which is Axe/Hammer Dash turned up to 11. Those are basically instant win buttons. Another protip: never equip Escape, never upgrade it, and never store it in a bookcase. It's basically a fifth spell you can use in the lower screen and wastes 0RP, plus it does the same thing no matter the level. Use the four button slots for more cool abilities, and never worry about equiping a weapon related to the Rune Ability since it only costs an insignificant extra RP.

Also, I hope I'm not destroyed for this but I'm doing a fanart of a Palm Cat at the moment, so I'll go into act 2 once I'm done with it.

Green is actually very amazing, and I'm still impressed how such a rare monster decides to join you. It'll complement my party once I get moving on that arc. I'm thinking it'll take over my Goblin Don's slot since Maya Road's has those cryptids who recover HP and that idiot will give them over 3k HP with his knives.

RF4 is probably the best 2010 decade RPG I've played. Customization + fun ARPG adventures among comfy activities like cooking, fishing, addictive crafting, and fun characters with a staggering amount of dialogue makes its one of my favorite to go games, right on par with Etrian Oddysey.

The only problems I have is how fast time flows and the lack of villains. Here's hoping if a sequel is announced, those issues are fixed plus new NPC races are added... maybe even be able to pick our race.

In Frontier, Runeys ruin the game for a lot of people. It can be tedious or hard to grasp, but I hear you can use hacks to make them a non-issue. Tides is fun but it cuts back on the farming. It's highly simplified. It still has fun combat and exploration.
