I liked the camp-factor of Crystal Dynamics' Sands-of-Time-ripoff Tomb Raider games. they felt like SyFy original programming with serviceable gameplay and pretty stunning visuals by the time they got to Underworld. It was a much better template to steal than Uncharted, which ended up turning a more puzzle-focused series into another edgy shootybangbang game.

The early CORE games are good too, but the level design can be really mean sometimes for no obvious reason outside of padding game length.

Best looked at, not listened to or played. Really don't like the accent.

As for the body type...Nu-Lara actually has a great body, but she could definitely use some more chest meat.

The two things I really miss from old Lara are her pistols, which is so iconic for the character that I'm shocked nu-Lara still doesn't have them in the sequel after that tease at the end of the first game...And i miss old Lara's attitude. Old Lara always felt like she was in control of a situation, even when she wasn't. She had an over-abundance of snark and class, and she was wonderful for it.

However I tried to play the new-ish fancy reboot TR. I couldn't really get around to it or in to it (Been stuck in steam limbo for a few years.)

I didstinctly remember one part early on, it seemed like a dangerous "think quick or die" situation in the reboot, I think it was a falling plan, but I learned that entire sequence was pretty much on rails, so it kinda zapped the fun out if it for me. 8/10 Hair physics tho.
