It's not so much forgetting as it is knowing what the fuck you're looking at. Aposematism isn't really as common in fungi as it is in animals. There's fucktons of very brightly colored mushrooms that are perfectly safe to eat, and drawing a conclusion based on something as unreliable as color isn't something that you would normally do as a mycologist anyways.
