Few. PC has HD options but most assets are low res anyway. I think PC also has some extra additions but it's very minor, the kind you would never miss.

These are the JRPGs I'd recommend.
Tactics Ogre: LUCT - Iconic TRPG, some annoyances added to this version but the great writing more than makes up for it. Although not particularly well balanced the game is still fun to play.
Valkyria Chronicles 3 - "trpg" where enemies shoot at you when you're moving your units, not sure how to describe it. Much better gameplay balance than the first game but the maps are generally made up of recycled segments.
Ys Oath in Felghana (also on PC) - more of an action/adventure game but worth mentioning
Trails in the Sky (also on PC) - Turn based RPG with lots of writing, world is very well developed. Gameplay isn't really stimulating but there are some good points like moving in battle and customizing build with orbments.
Yggdra Union - TRPG with very unique combat system (also on GBA; download a save file to start on hard mode if playing on PSP)
Wild Arms XF - TRPG with good class system and level design leading to puzzle-like battles (for about half the game, then it gets repetitive due to broken classes. Also the story sucks).
Persona 2 - Turn based RPG with good characters and interesting story, unfortunately the gameplay is simple and easy while also being somewhat clunky. Random battles aplenty.
Growlanser IV - my personal favourite. The battle system is kind of like RTwP, you have orbs to equip that teach skills and provide bonuses so you can customize your builds, the map design for each battle is considerably varied so you'll find different tactics effective in different situations, the story includes various cliches but the focus is generally on the people and countries rather than ancient evils and stuff, the characters are memorable and locations are comfy.

PSP Go is comfy but there's no microSD adapters for the memory card type it uses and you'll probably want more than the 16GB internal. It also has bluetooth for PS3 controllers.

I tried ppsspp on a Huawei P8 lite and an ASUS ZenFone 3 Laser and is shit. I couldn't play games like FF II or Pacman World.

I only played in bed. I use my vita when I'm out and about.

Get Breath of Five IV. I've been playing on my Vita and it's great.

Also get Legend of Legaia.
