t. Has never built a PC, I've gone 5+ years without upgrades before and I didn't even need to upgrade when I did, my old shit ran games better than any console still.

closer to $600 and +$60 per a game. Also, the way the market is going, it's going to be around once every 2-3 years now.

Close to $1200 for something quality. It should last you at least 8 years or more. People still use sandy bridge CPU's and 780ti's and they can play AAA games at medium/high setting still which is still looking better than new consoles. Games also tend to be much cheaper when you consider the insane sales steam and other services do, I have never seen something 90% off on a console store that was worth buying.

Computer graphics, will look better even dated. This is because a lot of details and textures aren't hard removed out like they are on their console-lite versions. This means even dated PC hardware will produce better graphics.
