I liked her better than Tharja, who I don't care about that much, since they always get compared. Purple hair + cyclops is a god tier combo. Top tier unit in Fates, which matters more than Heroes. Japanese version is of course vastly superior and not just for Sawashiro's sex voice.

I wonder how she and Minerva will play in Warriors? I can only image flying mounts will just be like horses but hovering.

I would assume Minerva would be there. She was the OG wyvern rider and not only has an archetype based on her but even several girls outright based on her like Miledy. And she and Camilla are the only likely wyvern riders to make it, unless Cherche gets in just for being in Awakening.

Thing is that most of /v/ seems to consider Echoes to be better than Fates. Fates got more discussion for longer because of how controversial and hated it is. Echoes isn't as hated, but isn't so good as to be generating long discussion outside of the typical fanbase wars.

I'm sort of excited for Warriors even despite being only Awakening/Fates/Archanea as of now, but at the same time, the gameplay looks kind of repetitive/boring. I haven't played musou before, but all the enemies just stand there and attack maybe once every 20 seconds, and it seems like you can just mash the same basic combo over and over again to get ebin kills by the hundred. Is this accurate or is the genre deeper than it looks?

Musous by their very nature are cathartic games however. They're the kind of game when you just wanna kill shit and be done with it.

That's how Musous work. Far from posing a threat, more enemy soldiers is usually a good thing since you can beat them up to gain experience and build your special meter. The real challenge comes from enemy commanders, which are usually other playable characters.

Musous follow a difficulty curve of being able to roll your face on the buttons and still win to sudden extreme jumps in difficulty. Some maps of HW are a giant pain in the ass to A rank and getting tagged once will lose it for you.
