I've never played a God of War game before, I always thought they catered to edgelords. From what I've heard recently, this one will cater to the worst kind of Bernie Sanders supporters.

nuGod of War makes me mad and it is literally a representation of everything that is wrong with modern videogames
I don't even really like the old GoW games, DMC, NG, and Bayo are all superior hack n slash games, but at least GoW WAS an actual hack n slash action game.
GoW is the most commercially successful hack n slash series. But when Sony decided to completely gut the gameplay of the series and try to turn it into some sort of a TLOU clone, you can basically tell that no studio cares about proper action games anymore. Add in the abortions that are DmC, NGZ, and how those two series are fully dead and you know that proper action games are a dead genre.
nuGoW is basically a spit in the face to people who like action games. I can tell that the fucks who made it are basically saying "yeah exciting action gameplay isn't really important, what matters is having an emotionally engaging story where we try to redeem our protag, who we have previously established to be a major psychopath." nuGoW is basically showing the modern game trend of where, instead of having exciting and engaging gameplay as our main selling point, we have our shitty Oscar bait story as the main focus of the entire game with unskippable, walking scenes, where the player has to listen to the shitty dialogue and feel sad for the shitty, dumb characters who he really doesn't actually give a shit about.
