Actually, on paper, the Switch is essentially just a portable Wii U, which in terms of power, puts it just at 12% of an increase in overall specs compared to the Vita.

However, seeing as the Vita and the Wii U are from 2012, that means you are barely sitting at a tenth of an improvement over hardware that is over five years old.

On that same point, Vita and Wii U have free online, where as the Switch will soon be charging fees, oh, and do not forget that the Vita, on day one, had a higher quality screen than the Switch FIVE YEARS AGO and has a battery that is roughly double of what the Switch has.

In closing, keep in mind that the Wii U was essentially just an overclocked Wii, which was essentially an overclocked Gamecube, which to put it bluntly means that you were working with PS3 and 360 graphical fidelity and power from day one and now that the PC has gotten better and the PS4 / PS4 Pro are out and the Xbone / Xbone S are out, you are, again, falling behind on all levels of hardware, (only to be put even more to shame whine Xbox X releases).

I am not going to hate on you, but just keep all this in mind. OH, but, hey, at least you have some decent exclusives and ports from your last console to tide you over until third party support comes! Oh, if only there was a way to play BOTW on the go for more than 2 hours at the lowest possible settings, then everything would be perfect.

To summarize, there is nothing wrong with the Switch, but for the price, the hardware you get is terrible and the upcoming software looks to be just rehashes to appeal to the Nintendon'ts, which is a real shame, seeing as Nintendo made such a big deal about new IPS and third party games during their big reveal. Maybe in due time, child, but today is not your day.

First of all, you don't need a PS4 to use PS Now to play PS4 games on PC.

Second, Wii U is still rendering the games on the console then just transmitting the feed to the tablet. As long as the Wii U is powered by any energy source (battery, generator, wall power, etc) and you have the tablet controller, it's a portable like a laptop
