UI is a fucking clusterfuck, every city is filled with so many useless npcs which is the reason fps drops from 90 to 25, terrible map, quest are talk with random npcs for 30 minutes or go kill 10 rats type, everything is chaotic and you can't tell why you are there and what you are supposed to do, dozen on dozen npcs walking in the middle of the road will disrupt your pace because they physically slow you down when you approach them, game discourage groups and leveling with friends and nearly every encounter is cqc with little range for casters, when 2 or more players are in a zone there's a fuckton of effects you can't tell what's happening.

I took someone's advice and I installed a nude mod and boy, let me tell you, it's the best decision I've ever made. It's almost as if the developers originally made the nude textures, but then ripped them from the game.

Even the texture replacement tool is in-depth. The only hassle is having to restore it to a "clean" state after every patch, but it literally takes 5 seconds to do so.

Almost everything, but there were two really huge ones that stood out.

The community was incredible(as long as you weren't on the freedom or infinity servers) like nothing you've ever seen in an mmo. Something about the game just really chilled people the fuck out.

BDO is mostly a single player game marketed as an MMO.

No direct trading.
Inefficient group farming.
No dungeons/raids.
Life skills are done by yourself only.
etc.

BDO is sort of fun if you have autism and like to AFK and repeat repetitive tasks ad nauseum to make silver to play the slots, but there's nothing for you here if you're looking for an MMO.

Oh, well end game node wars and PvP are sort of a thing, but PvP is insanely broken since two or so classes rule the top and devs refuse to balance the game. Server desync also makes PvP an absolutely nightmare and guild PvP tends to turn into zerg-spamfests with the nature of how the most overpowered classes are.

The game is worth it for a few hours of fun for $7, but I don't recommend making it your main game.

I'll tell you why it's the best modern/active MMO and it's for a few simple reason:

>The combat is skill based and actually feels fun
>All the classes have a role in node wars / castle sieges.
>The grind scares away the WoW-babbys

Here are the cons:
