The defend chapters in RD are great, among the best chapters in the entire series. In fact, Elincia's gambit IS the greatest map of all time.

Micaiah isn't even a Mary Sue by virtue of suffering for 90% of the game

every FE has good and bad maps. The worst maps in RD still manage to be truckloads better than maps in, say, BR, Awakening, or Echoes
