Game should have maintain the state it was back in Beta and expand upon from then on. Not helping at all when the devs shit themselves and listen to whiny faggots complained about `muh complex` crafting then proceed to dumb it down.
Looking at the gameplay trailer back when it was announced (in 2011, I think) made me really remember about the possibilites this game could have had.

I honestly thought this game had been dead for a long time; I'm surprised the servers have been open this long. Most games that people joke about being "dead" are at least talked about, like Battleborn. Firefall was more forgotten than Defiance, and that's saying something.

Who? When? Seriously, this game had been in development at the same time as Planetside 2, and it got massively overshadowed even if they weren't close to being the same game. Firefall didn't even get ironic likes or hate posts, that's how little it was talked about. I have no idea if it was a good game or not, but I can say that it completely fell off most peoples' radar. What was the size of the community at the end?

I remember seeing this at PAX east in 2010 or 2011. Years later it launched as was meh. Updates came out and in mid 2016 a few people and me dicked around and found a pretty ok game but not as good as other stuff. No real surprise it would close when the game is just ok and better games are everywhere.
