Really the entire series as a whole. Its my favorite series, I've played over 10 games in it. I thought it'd be better to say SMT in general rather than having 2 or 3 different.games taking up spots.

This one's a bit old and I might debate putting Pikmin 2 on there now in place of a few others. Also I know Cry of Fear is a weird pick, just know that Pathologic nearly beat it out but I just felt like Cry of Fear was so much more relatable and personal to me.

Is the gameplay similar to REmake at all with tank controls, resource management, puzzles and interconnected level design?

Yeah, they're the two titans of Survival Horror. Resi is king of the Survival gameplay, and SH the horror. SH's combat and resource management isn't as good as Resi, because of overpowered melee weapons and unlimited inventory space, but it has far better puzzles. Story wise SH by far takes the cake, but really they're two great series. If you like one you'll probably like the other, the each shine in different ways.
