Let me preface this by saying I own Galaxy 1 and 2 and I do like them. I really do. But I don't see how people think it's the best thing the Wii has to offer. It should really come off as a disappointment.

The small/linear nature of the levels seems to be a major step down from 64/Sunshine. And the waggle gimmicks would the lot of you off I would think.

I mean, good for you that you like it so much but it baffles me that anyone (ESPECIALLY on /v/) would laud it as the best game of last gen.

I will never understand why people think linear is synonymous with bad. Give me a more specific reason why you think the level design in Galaxy is worse.

Why do people complain about this? Because they think it's too childish to waggle with the controller? I found the controls to be responsive. Pointing at the point with the sensor bar thingie didn't work that well, but that's not what you are complaining about.

I honestly liked generations more, not for nostalgia, I never played classic Sonic games, but because classic segments were easier to stomach than Werehog levels.

Holoska Night is my favorite setting ever in a game. And the day stages are the most fun I have ever had in a game. I didn't mind the Werehog levels, obviously they aren't as good as the day stages but I still had a lot of fun with them too. If they made the game BC on Xbox One I would actually buy one just for that reason. Don't own a current gen console yet, but that would push me over the edge

I was at Comic Con '09 and there was a panel for Arkham Asylum. Mark Hamill was here, but what amazed me was how little people were there. It was a late-night panel and this was obviously before the game was out, so nobody really knew that this game was going to become as good as it was, or even good to begin with. Really funny looking back at it now, as I'm certain panels for the sequels filled up bigger rooms.
