Kain's Legacy

As far as I can tell there's no good way to get it running on modern OS. Emulation is the only option, which comes with the tedium of constant loading screens.

I think downloads are relatively easy to find on whatever abandonware site you go to.

Last time I tried to play the PC version Kain's attacks were oddly slow despite everything else being seemingly the same. Whether that's just how the PC version is or if it was a quirk of getting it to run on modern systems I don't know. But it was enough for me to just emulate the PSX version instead.

Why would he do that when Blood Omen is actually fun to play thanks to how compelling exploring is? Blood Omen is a little unrefined at points, but it's a great game that blows its sequels out of the water.

I don't think it ever received a proper port/update from when it was original released on PC like the other 4 games were. Your best bet is trying to find it as abandonware or to try and emulate the PSX version honestly. If you don't HAVE to have it on PC, it is on PSN.

No (I sincerely don't remember where I got it) but I will say I found it readily with just google a few months ago. It shouldn't be too hard to find.

The patch for more modern computers I remember getting from one of the LoK fansites. I really do think your best bet is to emulate, though.
