I mean they were clearly trying to go somewhere, at the end of 200% Sumika even reveals that they're almost there.
Honestly the continued updates to 100% and the later release of XMS Scramble force 200%'s lore to change, even if slightly.
Scramble introduced a new character who's not present in 200%, so really all that has to change lore-wise is that Sumika doesn't care for Nico to the point of excluding her, but still including Arthur and even characters who don't even exist formally (Alicianrone, Dirue, Kyupita). Including Mixed Poppo forces 100%'s timeline to take place after the events of 200% since Navi is there. But that doesn't exactly make sense since Tomomo, Magical Girl Tomomo, Kai, and Marie Poppo all exist within 200% as well. The only explanation there is that they're concurrent and both Sumika and Tomomo are able to peek into each other's pocket dimensions.
Of course Hono didn't think this far forward and I'm some sort of autismo for being a lorefag in the first place.
Hopefully Magical Girl of Miracles gets a translation, though.
