Doomfist is supposed to be a serious character like Black Lightning or Black Panther. The Terry Crews voice that people want would be too silly. This is Overwatch, not Borderlands. Terry Crews voicing Doomfist would have been okay if he was a Borderlands character. Overwatch is a light hearted game, but a meme spouting character that shouts everything would be way too

Exactly this, autisticly attacking the game because Terry isn't voicing Doomfist isn't going to change anything.

It was fine when Doomfist was an abstract concept with very little details, literally anyone could fill that role. However he now know he wasn't suitable for the role with the information that Doomfist is an edgy dark character.
Though I have hope that Terry will show up in some other way, he's a really cool guy and I think Blizz knows how many fans want him in the game.
