>Moirai, an experimental indie game on Steam, has been closed down forever due to hackers
>>383033210
>Less pixel"""""art"""" indieshit.
Wish there are more "hackers".
Now sage and fuck off.
Good, it was shit.
>>383033351
It wasn't really a game anyway and more of a little social experiment
What was there to even hack?
>>383034358
The devs wont say.
It's probably just an excuse to shut the server down instead of having to pay for the bandwidth/rent.
>>383034306
Was that "really stimulates my neurons" social experiment or "it's totally not a prank" social experiment?
>>383033210
I've never heard of that game
>>383033351
>there are
are you legitimately retarded?
>Since it’s no longer playable and locks players at the title screen, I’ll give you the abridged version. You wander through a cave, looking for a missing person. Eventually you come upon a bloodied character and you have the choice of killing them or letting them pass. After exploring some more, you eventually go to leave, only now you’re covered in blood. You come across another character and the game ends with you in the position of the character whose fate was just in your hands.
>If you input your email address, the game tells you your fate when the next player entered the cave, and this carried on for the entire four years it was free on Steam. But now the devs have announced their decision to close the game on Steam.
And nothing of value was lost.

>I broke my game in the hopes that people will talk about it as i prepare my next 2 minute gimmick artsy pixel wank fest.
come on people this is entry level attention whoring and you're all falling for it.
>>383034770
i played it blind and it was neat sue me
>>383034906
Remember those Belgian idiots who thought their (((games))) were 2deep for the common plebeians who got fed up with their shitty cutscene simulators? Me neither.
Probably hackers looking to access the e-mail database for use in spamming campaigns. I don't believe it's game hackers, but more like foreign spam hackers that do this for money.
>>383033210
>The game was costing them money to keep up and has been up for 4 years
>This is entirely because of the hackers you guys
Sounds like it's lived a moderate life for what it is.
Something like this can't stay up forever.

Same. I liked it for what it was, even if it was only 5 minutes of entertainment.
Yeah it was a "artsy" game, but it was a neet little experiment, if someone did intentionally make the game unplayable that's sad, maybe one day we will get this in a triple A title
