I've always played as a generic claymore knight build up until recently. Made a MGS character in DaS and now I'm making one in BB. Nice change of pace from melee only.

I chose the cleric class if that's what you're asking. I don't equip any heal spell or weapon buff. Just pure offensive miracles at 60 faith. Divine Pillars, Lightning Storm, Lightning Stake, Lightning Arrow, etc. Fun stuff.

Boot up DS2 and make a build for power stancing. Mashing two smelter Hammers into dudes or pinning them to walls with the greatlances, too fun

They're alright though. Lost Izalith is really the only bad one. I personally hate the Duke's Archives though. Too many enemies and I hate the layout.

last time I played das1 I was in a full havel's set with a black knight halber +5 and i remember killing artorias in five hits

Nope. I stand at the start of the DLCs and neither I or my partner can push through the slow bullshit any longer, even knowing the DLCs are the better part.
It's just too much of a snore-ride.

Harvest Valley. You need to hand in 20 sunlight medals to the sunlight cov and get to rank 2. Was really easy back when the game was active, but I don't know how active it is now.

Be aggressive. A few hits from a weapon will stun him. Just make sure you get your rolls right and you'll be fine. He doesn't have much health.

If you feel like you aren't dealing enough damage try upgrading your weapons.
