Personally I'm just gonna wait for Steam, with SEGA's recent message how they want to port Yakuza to PC, FF15 being a given coming to PC and me having PS3 to play Persona 5 and the older Yakuza titles, I just don't see much point in PS4 at this point.

As someone buying it on PS4, I don't understand why they aren't releasing it on pc. Steam already has most Final Fantasy games, even Nier sold well. Why would they limit their buys like this?

You can put any job on anyone you like, in fact you can use two per character now which is the biggest change in this release.
FF12 had everyone being carbon copypaste freelancers.
Zodiac Job System added the Jobs, with 1 slot per character.
And this Zodiac Age version adds second job slot.

So for example you can make Penelo a BLM+WHM now.

It's not easier than IZJS, they list both IZJS and Zodiac Age changes over vanilla because West never got IZJS (outside of fantranslation).
