Normally you'd hire a game tester or actual hobbyist game rewiever but the thing is as a company its fucking impossible to get those to write on a basis that would make money.

So they hire english majors or journo majors, who wanted to be the next big writer for E! or some faggy shit. but of course they take the job, they're english majors and it literally pays more than macdonalds, who might not even be hiring considering the flood of menial workers they have.

Gaming journalism is a joke, find some indie guy who's head is so far up his ass that he's created some sort of quality control because else it'd hurt his ego, like yathzee or ass cancer.
